Nissan is a Japanese automaker founded in 1933, headquartered in Yokohama, and one of Japan's "Big Three" alongside Toyota and Honda. It is famous for the Skyline/GT-R sports-car lineage, the Patrol 4x4, the Z sports cars, the Nismo performance division, and the Leaf — one of the world's first mass-market electric cars. Nissan's alliance with Renault and Mitsubishi makes it part of one of the world's largest auto groups. In Pakistan, Nissan operates through Ghandhara Nissan, with a long history of assembling Datsun and Nissan vehicles locally, including pickups and commercial vehicles. Although its current local lineup is limited, thousands of Nissan cars, pickups, and commercial vehicles run on Pakistani roads, keeping demand steady for genuine Nissan parts — Patrol and Navara 4x4 components, engine spares, filters, and electrical parts — especially in the used-parts and workshop trade. Nissan also pioneered the affordable-EV era with the Leaf and sells the popular Navara pickup across the Middle East and Asia. Its Infiniti luxury division gave it a premium foothold in North America and beyond.
