The most classic symptom. A clicking or snapping sound when turning sharply — particularly when pulling away from standstill with full steering lock. Karachi's tight parking maneuvers make this symptom very obvious.
Felt through the steering wheel or floor during acceleration, noticeable at 60–80 km/h. Can be an inner CV joint or a failed boot.
A torn CV boot allows grease to escape. Look for dark grease sprayed around the inner wheel rim and nearby suspension components.
CV joints themselves can last 200,000+ km if properly lubricated. The greased rubber boot is the vulnerable part. Have boots inspected every 30,000 km.
