This Seller Policy explains the standards for merchants, workshops, distributors, importers and specialist suppliers selling through PakAutoMart.
Sellers are responsible for accurate listings, lawful products, truthful brand use, correct categories, realistic stock, safe packaging, clear pricing, timely dispatch, professional communication, valid return handling and compliance with these policies. Sellers should understand that many PakAutoMart customers are buying technical parts where incorrect supply can waste time, damage equipment or create safety risk.
A seller listing clutch plates, pressure plates, brake linings, brake pads, friction plates, elevator brake pads, mining machine brake parts, railway brake shoes or similar items must describe application, size, material, condition and compatibility as clearly as possible.
Listings should use real product photos where possible, accurate names, clean descriptions, correct category, brand where applicable, unit, stock quantity, warranty note, condition and fitment information. If a product is aftermarket, replacement, locally manufactured, refurbished, used, old stock or made-to-sample, the listing must say so clearly.
Sellers must not copy another seller photos or descriptions unless they have permission. They must not use OEM names to imply genuine status when selling aftermarket parts.
Sellers must keep stock and prices updated. If a product becomes unavailable, the seller should update the listing quickly and notify buyers before dispatch. Cancelling orders repeatedly due to stock errors harms marketplace trust and may lead to restrictions.
Prices should be clear and should not be changed after order confirmation except where a documented correction or buyer-approved change is handled through official marketplace channels.
Sellers should answer fitment questions carefully. When information is incomplete, sellers should ask for vehicle or machine model, year, engine, old part photo, dimensions, part number, chassis number where appropriate, or sample confirmation. Guessing fitment for safety parts is not acceptable.
Where a seller confirms fitment, that conversation may be reviewed in a dispute. Sellers should keep technical advice inside the platform where possible.
Sellers must pack products safely. Brake shoes, clutch kits, glass, fluids, batteries, electrical parts, heavy machinery components and precision friction plates need appropriate packing to prevent transit damage. Sellers should share tracking and dispatch orders within promised timelines.
Used, greasy, sharp, heavy or fragile parts must be packed so courier staff and customers are not exposed to avoidable harm.
Sellers must cooperate with return requests, warranty questions and support investigations. If the seller supplied the wrong product, misdescribed condition, shipped incomplete goods or confirmed incorrect fitment, the seller may be responsible for replacement, refund or shipping costs.
Sellers must not sell counterfeit, stolen, unsafe, illegal, restricted or falsely branded products. They must not manipulate reviews, create fake orders, contact buyers to avoid platform records, threaten customers, misuse personal data or upload misleading technical claims.
PakAutoMart is a marketplace for automotive, motorcycle, heavy vehicle, railway, elevator, rigging, mining and industrial parts. Many items are technical components that require accurate identification before purchase. Buyers should compare product photos, part numbers, dimensions, vehicle or machine model, year, make, application, material grade, mounting points, electrical ratings, hydraulic specifications, braking system type, clutch type and any seller notes before ordering. Sellers must describe products honestly and respond to fitment questions with care. Where a part is safety critical, installation should be performed by a competent mechanic, technician, fleet engineer or qualified workshop.
Because PakAutoMart hosts independent sellers, the marketplace does not manufacture, test, certify or independently verify every product listing. We provide the platform, search tools, order workflow, seller profiles, messaging features and support channels. Product ownership, stock accuracy, technical suitability, installation instructions, warranty promises and after-sale commitments remain the responsibility of the relevant seller unless PakAutoMart expressly states otherwise in writing.
Before placing an order for a part that may have multiple variants, customers should share the old part sample, chassis or frame number where appropriate, engine code, model year, machine model, measurements, photos, or any available OEM and aftermarket reference numbers. Sellers should keep these conversations inside the marketplace where possible so support can review them if a dispute occurs.
PakAutoMart may update these policies as the marketplace grows, as new payment, delivery, warranty, seller verification, import, compliance or fitment tools are added, or as legal and operational requirements change. The latest version displayed on the website applies from the effective date shown. Continued use of PakAutoMart after a policy update means that the user accepts the updated policy.
