This Seller Policy governs the rights and obligations of all sellers registered on PakAutoMart. By registering as a seller, you agree to comply with this policy, the PakAutoMart Terms and Conditions, Seller Terms and Conditions, and all applicable laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, including the Contract Act 1872, Sale of Goods Act 1930, Income Tax Ordinance 2001, Sales Tax Act 1990, Companies Act 2017, and all relevant provincial consumer protection legislation.
PakAutoMart is an inclusive marketplace open to: Individual Sellers — Pakistani nationals above 18 years of age with a valid CNIC; Registered Businesses — companies, LLPs, or sole proprietorships registered under the Companies Act 2017 or equivalent; Manufacturers — OEM or aftermarket parts manufacturers with valid trade licenses; Importers — licensed importers with Pakistan Customs clearance documentation; Workshops and Dealers — registered automotive dealers and workshops with valid trade licenses. All sellers must complete our KYC (Know Your Customer) verification before listing products.
To activate your seller account, you must provide: valid CNIC (for individuals) or NIC of authorized director (for businesses); Business Registration Certificate from SECP or Registrar of Firms; National Tax Number (NTN) issued by FBR; Sales Tax Registration Number (STRN) if applicable; active Pakistani bank account details for fund disbursement; and a valid contact number and business address. PakAutoMart reserves the right to request additional documents for high-volume sellers or those dealing in specific regulated categories.
All listings must comply with the following standards: Product title must accurately describe the item, compatible vehicle make/model/year, and part number where applicable. Product condition must be honestly stated (New, Genuine Used, Refurbished, Compatible/Aftermarket). Pricing must be in Pakistani Rupees and must not artificially inflate prices to circumvent platform fee structures. All images must be genuine photographs of the actual product or manufacturer-supplied images. Descriptions must not contain false claims, misleading compatibility information, or keyword stuffing. Sellers must not list prohibited items (see Section 5).
PakAutoMart charges a commission on each completed sale. Commission rates vary by category and are disclosed in the Seller Dashboard under "Fee Structure." All fees are subject to applicable taxes (including withholding tax under Section 153 of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001). PakAutoMart will issue a Tax Invoice for all platform fees. Seller earnings are disbursed after a holding period of 7 days post-delivery confirmation. Payment is made to the registered bank account via IBFT or designated payment gateway.
Sellers are strictly prohibited from listing: counterfeit or replica auto parts misrepresented as genuine; stolen vehicle parts or parts with tampered VIN/chassis identifiers; items banned by Pakistan Customs or PSQCA; airbags or safety-critical parts that have been compromised or deployed; parts subject to active recalls without disclosure; items requiring a license for sale that the seller does not possess. Violation of this section constitutes an offense under PECA 2016 and the Pakistan Penal Code and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to law enforcement.
Sellers must dispatch confirmed orders within the handling time specified in their listings (maximum 5 business days). Sellers must provide a valid tracking number within 24 hours of dispatch. Failure to fulfill orders within the committed timeframe will result in automatic cancellation and a seller performance strike. Three strikes within a 90-day period will trigger a mandatory account review. Sellers using PakAutoMart's integrated logistics network must comply with the packaging standards of the assigned courier partner.
PakAutoMart maintains a Seller Rating system based on order completion rate (minimum 95%), on-time dispatch rate (minimum 90%), response rate to buyer queries (within 24 hours), and average review rating (minimum 3.5/5.0). Sellers consistently falling below these benchmarks will receive performance warnings, reduced listing visibility, or account suspension. Top-performing sellers are eligible for PakAutoMart's "Verified Seller" and "Trusted Vendor" badges.
Sellers are independently responsible for their tax obligations under Pakistani law. PakAutoMart will provide monthly sales summaries to facilitate tax filing. Sellers registered for Sales Tax must issue compliant Sales Tax Invoices to buyers as required under the Sales Tax Act 1990. PakAutoMart may be required to deduct withholding tax on payments to sellers as per FBR directives. It is the seller's responsibility to maintain proper books of accounts as required under the Income Tax Ordinance 2001.
Sellers must own or have the right to use all images, descriptions, and brand references in their listings. Unauthorized use of OEM brand names (e.g., listing a compatible part as "Toyota Original") without authorization is strictly prohibited under the Trade Marks Ordinance 2001 and may result in legal action by brand owners.
PakAutoMart reserves the right to remove listings, withhold payments, suspend, or permanently ban any seller found to be in violation of this policy. Appeals against enforcement actions must be submitted within 14 days to sellers@pakautomart.com. PakAutoMart's decision on policy violations is final at the platform level, without prejudice to either party's right to seek legal recourse.
